Welcome to Lead Mine!

Welcome to another great year at Lead Mine Elementary! We, the PTA, are parents, teachers, and members of the community that care about children and their education. Our theme for the year is TEAM LEAD MINE - where TEAM stands for Together, Educate And Motivate.

It is our goal to work with and support all students to create a lasting environment for success. To achieve this goal, we are challenging everyone to find at least three ways to support the school this year. There are many ways to help: sending in a batch of cookies, reading to a class, shelving books in the media center, or volunteering at one of the many events planned for the year.

How does the PTA support the children of Lead Mine?

•  We provide significant resources to support our teachers, specialists, and administrators with their curriculum needs.

•  We sponsor student activities such as Lyrical Leopards, Leopard Live, Science Expo and many more.

•  We sponsor low cost family events such as the Fall Carnival, Movie Night, Media by Moonlight and more.

•  We provide cultural arts programming throughout the year.

•  We coordinate parent volunteers in the Media Center and Copy / Laminating Center , taking on tasks so that teachers and their assistants can have more time with our children.

•  We are a voice for our children and our school.

•  And much, much more!

How can you get involved?

•  Join the PTA! Just by joining, you are advocating for your child!

•  Volunteer! Whether you have one hour to offer or many more, it takes all of us working together to make a strong TEAM Lead Mine!

•  Be informed! Sign up to receive email alerts, read the Leopard Link, or attend a PTA meeting.

•  Visit Lead Mine! Have lunch with your child, attend family events, or volunteer for a classroom celebration or learning experience.

We are looking forward to a winning year! Monthly PTA meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month. Please join us!
