Lead Mine PTA Organizes and/or helps fund the following:

• School directory
• Leopard Link newsletter
• Kindergarten Connection program for rising kindergartners & families
• Book Fair to raise funds for new books in media center
• Volunteers for media, copy, laminating centers
• Volunteers for any school needs, such as assistance during group tests, assisting photographers on picture day, tutoring, etc.
• Recognizes students achieving goals for the Accelerated Reading program
• Reflections Art Show
• 5th Grade Celebration
• Supports the Character Education program & recognizes students showing positive character traits
• Provides cultural arts performances for students during school year
• Organizes family events, such as Winter Carnival, Movie Night, & Media by Moonlight
• Financially supports: Super Kids Day, First in Fitness, Chorus, School Musical Productions, Science Fair, 5th Grade Dance, & WLML (student news program)
• Organizes building and grounds maintenance days
• Staff appreciation events
• Welcoming events for new families at beginning of school year Yearbook
• Significant resources to support our teachers, specialists, and administrators with their curriculum needs Carnival
• Original Works of Art School store
